I'm still trying to ponder what to say to the parents in a few weeks. They know that I'm coming home, I'm going to have to set up dinner with them and not A. She'll be a whole other ballgame.
So, what to say.
1. I went to bible college because I had doubts and wasn't solid in my faith after being in a cult. It just gave me more questions and I didn't feel comfortable.
2. My views have been changing, I believe in me first, not the Bible.
3. I'm not becoming a bad person, I'm quite happy and relaxed.
4. I don't resent the method of parenting.
5. I know they're easygoing enough to accept this, and I want to be close to them and honest.
Perhaps last point should be the first one. Or both. Must try not to rant. But I bet they'll ask me why and I'll say... hmm.
1. Prayer? Healing? Don't see it.
2. Seeing people live non-Christian lives and be good people.
On second thought, I don't think I'll have to say a lot.
