I have an Honours BA in Linguistics from York University. I'm interested in editing (copy-editing, plain-language editing, editing web copy) and web design.
I live in downtown Toronto with my boyfriend and our two feline companions.
Top three books: White Noise by Don DeLillo, Holy the Firm by Annie Dillard, and Franny & Zooey by J.D. Salinger. I could read those books over and over until I die.
I grew up evangelical Christian. I was quite serious about my faith and so I went to bible college for two years to pursue it. All efforts to the contrary, I lost my faith soon after that. My current thoughts on the topic tend to align with [weak] atheism. My account of this journey, Faith Dissolved, brings quite a few visitors to this site.
