uh, hi
So, I haven't actually done a damn thing with this website for over 2 months. I was going to, but then I need to get all the new DNS information and redesign it and I'd like to put in a content management system, but then...
Work has been insane and the last thing I want to do when I get home is wrestle with more CSS, HTML, and information architecture. My repetitive stress injury flared right up and I quit using my computer at home for a while. And then, to top it all off, I stopped knowing what to blog about. This much I know about work politics: work stays at work. Unfortunately, that's the bulk of my activities lately.
Other than that, I've been learning Photoshop better. Christopher and I went to Owen Sound for a weekend, and then to the Halton Rail Museum to marvel at 100-year-old streetcars. I might get dual citizenship (Dutch/Canadian).
Last night I put Mardi Gras beads on the cats. Metro promptly fell asleep in all his "I'm a pretty princess" glory, and Dune walked around the condo backwards, trying to get away from the evil shiny things.

Ah yes, and Christopher's been having a dubious influence on young Ada (seen here in a cow costume):

Hi. I got to your site by a rather circuitous route and was intrigued by the fact that you once belonged to The Salvation Army. My husband and I were officers in Canada, but have lived in the USA for about 11 years since we resigned from our officership. I de-converted last summer, but have not told my Christian friends or family about it yet. I recently dropped out of the songsters, but I'm still attending my corps. Anyway, I've been reading all sort of de-conversion stuff on the Internet and, to my knowledge, you're the first de-converted Salvationist I've come across. Anyway, I just thought I'd say hi, since we seem to have a couple of things in common.
