time for sleep

I started a temp job this morning. I had to wear make-up and a suit jacket, and my hard-won feminism stomped her feet in frustration.

Comment from Chris today regarding office conversation about Canadian Idol/Survivor/etc.: "Want to know the funny part? If you say you don't even have a TV, they'll think YOU'RE boring."

I've been travelling with other people, staying in beds that aren't my own, meeting a million new and old people and being on my best behaviour for two weeks straight. This introvert is tired.

P.S. Ada's cuteness has been verified, pictures to come.

Hope it went well despite the dress code!

Y'know, I rarely wear makeup to client meetings... if the feminist inside doesn't like it, I'm sure you could get away with just the suit jacket! Just depends what you feel most comfortable in -- if others around the office are all dolled up I can certainly understand the pressure.

I have a person at work that we don't really talk anymore. Cause she only talks about reality T.V. and I watch very little television and espesially not reality TV

Ha. I was just getting out my shirt and pants and warming up the iron for another day at it tomorrow.

There will be no makeup. However a shave, shower and a shampoo will be in order.

Who's the guy with no hands?

Marko

Marko: That would be my boyfriend, Christopher. He does have hands, I assure you. Better question: who are you? You comment a lot and I'm wondering. Send me an email or something.
