let's get this show on the road
So, today I am finishing packing and then meeting up with Chris and going to sleep early, because our flight is at SEVEN O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING tomorrow and we need to be there early. Also, I had a lovely conversation with a WestJet employee, who told me that I'm allowed to crochet on-board, "so long as I make scarves for the flight crew." Awesome.
Dani asked me to write something on Christianity and Sex Education, and I have done so. I'm warning you, it's long, but it's about sex, so it's interesting, right? And it features a list of sexual activities that are not sexual intercourse! Bonus!
Okay, some things on the agenda for BC:
- Tojo's Restaurant: The man INVENTED california rolls. I'm thinking this is going to be some goooood sushi.
- Capilano Suspension Bridge through the temperate rainforest.
- dinner with a former roommate, in Vancouver
- a few days with Janice and Mike, in Prince George
- Stanley Park in Vancouver
I'll be back on the 21st, with photos. :)

I enjoyed your christian sexuality article (espicially the part on homosexuality).
Well Heather Ann, I think you know what your next project- when are you going to write your book: Sex:A How too Guide.
or should I just read 'Our Bodies, Our selves'. (I found my mom's copy when I was 16, what an afternoon that was!!!)
I didn't get a chance to read this as I'm in the library and when I brought up the link the girl beside immediattly gave me a disgusted look. a different time then.
When I was 16 I found an old church youth book from the fifty's about sex education, interestingly did you know that masturbation causes insanity it's true I read it. why did we have that book anyway?
Heather Ann,
Wow, thank you SO MUCH for that write up. It's well written and intellectually provocative. You make a lot of strong points. Some, I'm not quite willing to ascribe to, but I REALLY appreciate your perspective. hopefully, you and i will be online sometime at the same time again and we can chat. peace--
ps. would you mind if i linked your site on my blog list?
Jo: Sure you can! I take it you've abandoned the idea to abolish the blog list then? ;)
